Database Administrator Specialist

What will you do?
  • Design and manage scalable, high-availability database architectures on GCP (Cloud SQL, AlloyDB, NoSQL).
  • Administer and optimize PostgreSQL, MySQL, Firestore, and MongoDB environments while automating infrastructure with Terraform (IaC).
  • Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations while ensuring security and governance.
  • Provide technical support and mentorship on GCP database solutions.
What's your story?
  • Strong experience with GCP, Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL), AlloyDB, and NoSQL (Firestore / MongoDB Atlas).
  • Proficient in Terraform for cloud infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • Solid knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (schema design, indexing, query optimization, replication, HA).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex database environments.
  • Able to work independently and in agile teams, with excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Nice to have: Oracle 19+ and Exadata experience.
