Java Backend Developer

What will you do?

Develop, test and maintain Java applications with clean, maintainable and efficient code.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process.
Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments.
Contribute to the documentation of system architecture and processes.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.
You will work with a cross-functional together with our colleagues in Spain and Germany - Dresden and Hamburg!

What's your story?

Strong knowledge of Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot).
Understanding of software architecture principles and patterns, especially Microservices.
Proficiency in DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker).
Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform).
Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
Solid understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
Familiarity with SQL databases (Postgres, Oracle, Exasol) and database querying languages.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good English skills, written and spoken.

Interest in machine learning
